Synopsis

Founded by Luisita and Chela Escarria, Foto Estudio Luisita has been immortalising the biggest names in the Buenos Aires entertainment world since the 1960s and for over thirty years. When she met Luisita in 2009, Sol Miraglia discovered an archive of more than 40,000 images, which she rescued from oblivion by painstakingly rehabilitating. This discreet documentary tells the story of a legendary place where celebrities jostled for position, as well as the beauty of a craft that has now disappeared. It also plunges us into the intimacy of two sisters who devoted their lives to photography.
