Mathieu Le Lay is a writer and director of documentary films who graduated from IFFCAM, the French wildlife film school, in 2008. With a personal, intimate style, his work is imbued with a visual poetry that feeds the mind with images of rare beauty and a sense of freedom. Her art and her personal quest are strongly connected. His films tell authentic stories inspired by the strong interactions between man and the wild environment, encouraging people to discover and experience the subtleties of the wild world. Winner of numerous awards at mountain, adventure and nature film festivals, Mathieu works regularly for French television (Arte, France TV, Ushuaia TV) and some of his most prestigious clients include National Geographic, Mountain Hardwear and Destination Canada.
