Tomas Leach
Director
Tomas Leach was born in Exeter, England. He studied at Bournemouth Arts University before joining the Fabrica Research Centre.
After directing several short documentaries and commercials, he made his feature film debut with In No Great Hurry: 13 Lessons in Life with Saul Leiter, in 2013. The following year, it was named one of the top 10 films by the Seattle Times.
In 2016, he directed The Lure, also a feature-length documentary, about the treasure hunt spearheaded by millionaire Forrest Fenn.
In 2017, he presented and directed Through the Darkness, a film about the baseball team at San Quentin prison in California.
His short film, Alba: Not Everyone Will Be Taken Into the Future, was selected by the Reykjavik Film Festival in 2018.
